Locating Your Routing & Transit Number and Checking Account Number
You can find the Routing & Transit Number and your Checking Account Number within the string of numbers located at the bottom of one of your checks. You can identify these by following the steps below.
The numbers at the bottom of your check include a 9-digit Routing & Transit Number, your Account Number, and your Check Number.
Ignore any special characters that may look like this:
Step 1: Find your Routing & Transit Number
The first 9 numbers from the left at the bottom of your check are your Routing & Transit Number. This number is always 9 digits.

In the example below, the Routing & Transit Number is 123456780, the Checking Account Number is 0102034679 and the Check Number is 132.
